NYDA in partnership with the Sports Foundation is delivering the Regional Youth Games to the four (4) regions of the country. Young people participating in the games must be from established youth councils within the regions.

The Youth Council Network was established in accordance with the NYDA Act 2014, which mandates the NYDA to create Youth Council Networks at the provincial, district, LLG (Local Level Government), and ward levels across the country.

The Youth Council Network was established in accordance with the NYDA Act 2014, which mandates the NYDA to create Youth Council Networks at the provincial, district, LLG (Local Level Government), and ward levels across the country. 

The National Youth Development Authority is established by the NYDA Act of 2014 replacing the National Youth Commission.  It is a government agency under the Ministry of, Youth Religion and Community Development in Papua New Guinea.
